BACKGROUND: A Blue Collar Mindset
My partner and I bought our first home in 2016 and the owner before us trashed it! We were forced to fix it up on a limited budget and we’ve learned an incredible amount along the way.
I got my DIY mindset from my parents who flipped homes while I was a kid. They instilled the mentality of “sweat equity” and working hard… and I’ve been sweating ever since I could walk. I have a Business and HR degree, but a Blue Collar mindset.
